How is Still different from other free noise reduction plugins?

Most free tools either need a noise-profile learn step, bury you in sliders, or add the watery 'underwater' artifacts of FFT processing. Still is one dial, fully adaptive with no learn step, and processes in the time domain - so that artifact class is impossible by design. Zero added latency.

What formats and systems does Still support?

VST3, AU, and AAX on macOS 11 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel, signed and notarized). A Windows build is in progress - leave your email and you'll be the first to know.

What kind of noise does it remove?

Steady background noise: preamp hiss, room tone, air conditioning, fan rumble, electrical hum. It continuously tracks the noise floor in 8 frequency bands and expands it away while leaving the voice untouched.

Still noise suppressor interface: a single large SUPPRESS dial with a live gain-reduction ring, delta noise solo button, and output trim

Zero latency

Why one dial beats a rack of sliders.

Drop it in and turn the dial. Just raise it until the noise is gone.

Adaptive - no learn step

Still tracks your noise floor continuously across 8 frequency bands. No noise-profile capture, no "hold quiet for 5 seconds."

No underwater artifacts

Still works in the time domain, not FFT, so the watery, chirpy artifacts of typical noise removers are impossible by design.

Zero latency

0 samples of delay. Track through it, monitor through it, mix with it. No timing smear, no delay compensation drama.

Delta noise: hear what it removes

One button solos exactly what Still is taking out. If you hear your voice in there, back off the dial.

Typical noise removers leave your voice underwater. Still works in the time domain, so its worst case is gentle, musical softening.

How it works

Noise-free in 30 seconds.

What it removes

Steady background noise. For sudden one-off sounds (coughs, chair squeaks) you'll still want an editor - that's a different job.

What's new in v1.0.1?

July 2026 - fixed a bug where suppression could pull down continuous, busy material instead of just the noise (loud audio can now never be attenuated, by design), plus stereo-path hardening. Free updates, forever - that's the deal.
